After a long night of partying, the Former State Commander and I came home to a very bright and sunny New Year morning. (The sun is really hurting my eyes today.)
Dinner at the Japanese restaurant last night was excellent, as usual, even though they were a little skimpy on the steak and veggies. Lots and lots of rice, though. And sake. And Japanese beer brewed in Canada. hahahahaha!!
The party afterwards at our friends' house was a blast, as usual. Lots of fireworks indoors (quite a feat if you ask me), a great roaring fire in the fireplace since it was only 10 degrees outside, more food and lots of beer and Crowne.
